FAQ's

1. What are your hours?

Our regular hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. We have also added to our schedule one Monday a month with hours from 8 am to 3 pm.

2. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept FSA cards and will provide you with detailed receipts in order to insure proper filing. Financial arrangements through a third party group are also available.

3. Will you file a claim with my insurance company, or is that my responsibility?

As a service to our patients, we will handle the filing of your insurance claims. Patients are responsible for their estimated portions at the time of service, unless other financial arrangements have been made previously.

4. How are emergencies handled after hours? Is there another doctor that sometimes takes calls for Dr. Myers?

We cover our patients' unexpected dental needs 365 days a year! If you are a patient of record and have an after hours emergency, please call our office telephone number 512.506.9430 and push extension 102 and Dr. Myers will respond promptly to your call. On rare occasion, Dr. Myers must assign another doctor to take his after-hours calls. When this is the case, patients can be assured that the doctor on call is of the highest professional caliber and operates with a philosophy of practice similar to Dr. Myers.

5. Where are you located?

Our office is located at 8430 Spicewood Springs Road, across the street from Canyon Vista Middle School, in the heart of the beautiful rolling hills of Northwest Austin. Our building can be accessed from Highway 183, as well as Loop 360. Click here for our map.

6. What is the age range of patients you see? When should I bring my child for their first dental visit?

We are happy to see patients of any age, usually starting at age 3. Most children up to about 5 years of age are just getting acquainted with the dentist and learning proper dental hygiene to maintain healthy smiles. However, there are exceptions and Dr. Myers will provide referrals to a pediatric dentist, if necessary.
